Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several prizes which include the Genie Award. In 2018, she was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was a part of the principal cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the next year, O'Hara and Candy began working in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984), where she drew the attention of critics for both her work as a comic actress and as a writer, securing an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the brand-new Second City artistic advisory board headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
