Lily Rabe
Lily Rabe is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for her role in FX's horror show American Horror Story (2011-2021). For her performance as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice, she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010) and Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also a part of the television series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2021), The Underground Railroad (2021), The First Lady (2022) Rabe appeared in Never Again with her mother Jill Clayburgh. Her stage debut professionally made at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts in which she was a part-time actress with her mother. She was the main character in speaking well of the dead performed by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl (Frank Pugliese) that were both one-act shows that enabled her to obtain an Equity Card. In July 2003, she was back to the Gloucester Stage Company to appear in Proof by David Auburn. She also appeared in Mona Lisa Smile that year. Following her graduation, she moved back home to New York. She was in White Jesus, a one-act play written by Deirdre Owen that was presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company from September 29 through October 2, 2004.
